PC Gamers worrying that "Assassin's Creed: Origins" might kill their gaming PCs need not fret anymore, as the recently released system requirements for the upcoming game are surprisingly accommodating.

Ubisoft has announced both the release date and the hardware and software system requirements of the upcoming "Assassin's Creed" prequel. The game will be available on Friday, Oct. 27. Unlike its predecessors, "Assassin's Creed: Origins" does not tax gaming systems with its recommended system requirements for the PC; whether or not this is an indication of the game's graphical level remains to be seen.

To be able to play the game at the bare minimum on a PC, players will need an operating system of at least Windows 7 service pack 1 (SP1), Windows 8.1, or Windows 10, and all should be 64-bit. For the central processing unit (CPU), an Intel Core i5-2400s running at 2.5 gigahertz (GHz) or an Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) FX-6350 running at 3.9 GHz is necessary. A graphics processing unit (GPU) of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon R9 270, both with 2 gigabytes (GB) of video memory, along with 6 GB or random access memory (RAM) are required.

With these minimum system requirements, players will be able to play the game smoothly on 1280×720 resolution (720p) but only in the lowest graphical preset.

PC owners wanting a more atmospheric and visually pleasing experience will need to follow the recommended system requirements. For the CPU, an Intel Core i7- 3770 running at 3.5 GHz or AMD FX-8350 running at 4.0 GHz would be best. A GPU of NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD R9 280X will also be needed, and since the game will need a video memory of 3 GB, the 4 GB versions of either card should be used. In order to make the game stutter-free on the highest settings, 8 GB of RAM is also recommended.

Following these higher system requirements will allow the players to experience the game smoothly on the high graphical preset on a 1920x1080 resolution (1080p).

"Assassin's Creed: Origins" will arrive on the aforementioned date of Oct. 27 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows.
