Apple keynote live stream: Watch WWDC 2013 online with Safari browser on iPhones, iPads and Apple TV

Apple has confirmed that it will be live streaming the keynote address today. In a press release this morning, the tech giant stated: "Apple® will broadcast its WWDC 2013 keynote address using Apple's industry-leading HTTP Live Streaming, which is based on open standards. Viewing requires Safari® on iOS 4.2 or later on any iPhone®, iPad®, iPad mini or iPod touch®; Safari 4 or later on Mac® OS X® v10.6 or later. Streaming via Apple TV® requires second or third generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later. The live webcast will begin at 10:00 a.m. PDT on Monday, June 10, 2013 at www.apple.com."

Rumors have been hot for the latest iDevices that could be released today.

However, the updated handset from Apple, iPhone 5s or iPhone 6, is not expected to make an appearance at the WWDC 2013.

The iPad 3 and iPad Mini were previously revealed at the annual developers conference and the iPad 5 and the iPad Mini 2 may indeed be showcased at the event.

However, some rumors point to a fall release date for all new updated Apple products.

The Cupertino-based company is expected to upgrade both the retina and non-retina version of the Macbook Pros with the powerful Haswell processor, which was only unveiled last week. The latest processor will significantly increase battery life in the power notebooks. Rumors surrounding the upgraded Retina Macbook Pro line is that it come with an even slimmer design and a full HD FaceTime camera.

A new line of ultra portable Macbook Air notebooks may feature faster wi-fi, an updated Airport Extreme and Time Capsule wireless base stations.

The updated Macbook Pros and Airs may ship by the end of Q2, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chu Kuo, who is known for accurately predicting release dates for Apple's highly anticipated products.

The WWDC event will take place June 10-14 in San Francisco. It is an annual conference for Apple developers and engineers to get an "in-depth look" at what's next in iOS and OS X, and to learn how to take apps to the next level.
