In the next episode of "American Horror Story: Cult," Kai Anderson (Evan Peters) challenges his followers to drink a cup of liquid that has yet to be known.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Drink the Kool-Aid" was just released recently and showed Anderson seated in front of his followers who are all listening to him intently. "What if I asked you to make the ultimate sacrifice for me? Would you do that?" he asks them. One of his recruits replies, "With a smile." Anderson carries a tray with a huge metal pot on top of it. The liquid inside it has yet to be revealed. He scoops the substance with a ladle and pours it in small cups. "When I point to you, you drink," says Anderson. It is strongly hinted that the liquid might be a mixture of blood and something else.

Anderson offers the same challenge to Ally Mayfair-Richards' (Sarah Paulson) son Oz (Cooper Dodson). They both stick out their little fingers and lock them together as a sign of trust. Then Anderson offers him the same drink in a cup which he accepts willingly. It remains to be seen what is really in the drink and what it symbolizes.

In the last episode, Anderson recruited Ally to his cult because she revealed to him that his brother Dr. Rudy Vincent (Cheyenne Jackson) was planning to have him institutionalized in a mental ward. The cult leader had his brother killed and informed his followers of his latest recruit. Ally's ex-partner Ivy (Alison Pill) was stunned by this because she did not expect her to join the group. Ally just looked at Ivy vindictively who apparently needs to watch her back.

"American Horror Story: Cult" season 7 episode 9 will air on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 10 p.m. EDT on FX.
