Daisy (Chloe Bennet) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) must start making their move to rescue their teammates from The Framework on the next episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4.

According to the synopsis of the episode titled "Farewell, Cruel World!" time is running out for the two agents to help their friends get out of the punishing Framework environment so they can finally go back to reality.

However, the synopsis also reveals that despite the agents' efforts, some of their colleagues may not be ready to leave The Framework even if they convince them to join them.

Based on the trailer of the upcoming episode, both Daisy and Simmons will have a hard time convincing everyone that they have to leave the alternate reality world as soon as possible. But the trailer does not explain what will happen to the agents who will choose to remain inside The Framework.

ABC also released a photo for the upcoming episode showing Simmons' method of getting Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) out of The Framework mindset by pointing a gun toward his direction. But will it successfully snap Fitz out of his alternate reality condition?

The episode will feature several guest stars like Natalia Cordova-Buckley as Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez, Mallory Jansen as the ruthless Madame Hydra / Aida, Briana Venskus as Agent Piper, Maximilian Osinski as Agent Davis, Jordan Rivera as Hope Mackenzie, Patrick Cavanaugh as Burrows, David O'Hara as Alistair, Ricardo Walker as Agent Prince, Richard Whiten as Gedrick, as well as Rheagan Wallace as Marilyn.

Meanwhile, Heroic Hollywood reveals the season 4 finale of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will be aired on Tuesday, May 16. However, the plot details of the upcoming season finale are still being kept under wraps.

The next episode of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 will be aired on ABC on Tuesday, May 2, at 10 p.m. EDT.
