The second season of 'Agent Carter' will see Peggy (Hayley Atwell) in Hollywood and as she continues to work alongside Jarvis (James D'Arcy), she will also get to make new friends, new enemies, and even meet a possible love interest.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Wynn Everett ("The Newsroom"), Lotte Verbeek ("Outlander") Currie Graham ("Raising the Bar") and Reggie Austin ("Devious Maids") are all joining the ABC show when it returns midseason.

Everett will play Whitney Frost, also known in the Marvel Universe as Madame Masque. In the show, the character is a glamorous Hollywood actress who happens to be a brilliant inventor. It will be interesting to see how Frost will go up against Peggy in the battle of wits, and it will also be a refreshing change of pace to see the titular hero go against another strong female character.

Speaking to EW, executive producers Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas and Chris Dingess said that the character is "inspired by Hollywood icons like Hedy Lamarr and Lauren Bacall."

"We knew we needed an actor who was classically glamorous and fiercely intelligent," they said about Everett's casting.

Meanwhile, Graham will be playing Frost's husband, Calvin Chadwick. Chadwick is described as being a very successful and influential businessman.

Earlier this year, it was reported that fans will get to meet Jarvis' wife, Anna, and she will be played by Verbeek. In the upcoming season, Anna and Peggy will immediately form a bond, and Anna will be helping her as she adjusts to life in Los Angeles.

As for Peggy's potential love interest, she will be meeting an eccentric yet very compelling scientist named Jason Wilkes, who will be played by Austin.

"We were impressed with Reggie as soon as we met him," said Loeb. "We knew he could portray a character whom audiences and Peggy would love."

Season 2 of "Agent Carter" will premiere on ABC in 2016.
