There are times when we feel hopeless and small, particularly during times of failure and when faced with challenges we deem too big for us to face. These moments often cause us to feel helpless and powerless to address the specific situations at hand.

When these times come, we need not feel helpless and powerless. The truth is, no matter what we are facing and no matter how we feel about the circumstances surrounding us, we are still more than conquerors in Christ (see Romans 8:37).

And because we are more than conquerors in Christ, we can face any trial or challenge hurled our way:

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)

Friend, are you currently facing situations that cause you to feel hopeless and small? Or do you feel like you'll never be able to overcome what you're going through? If you said yes to any of the two, this article is for you.

Here are some Bible verses that will encourage you when you feel hopeless and small in the face of your difficulties.

Philippians 4:6-7

"Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

Psalm 91:14-16 (God speaking)

"Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation."

Isaiah 43:1-3 (please see)

"But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior..."

John 16:33 (Jesus speaking)

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Matthew 11:28-30 (Jesus speaking)

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.;"
