Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber attend church together; The Weeknd, Gomez over?

The Weeknd and Selena Gomez have reportedly called it quits, amid the media frenzy over Gomez and ex Justin Bieber's recent get-togethers. Gomez and Bieber were spotted together again during the weekend when they were having breakfast.

"Jelena" fans rejoiced over what seemed like a mending of bridges between Gomez and Bieber, as they were photographed getting breakfast at Joi Cafe at Westlake Village, California. E! News reported that the two also attended church later that day. A source claimed that the "Fetish" singer and the "Friends" singer had been seeing each other often after Gomez underwent a surgery.

Meanwhile, People reported that The Weeknd and Gomez had broken up. "It's been hard with him being on tour and her shooting in New York. That wasn't easy on them," a source said. The insider added that the split was hard for them and went on to clarify that Gomez and Bieber were not back together. Clearly, it was not the recent sightings that had caused the breakup, but the conflict in schedule that had taken its toll on their relationship.

This move was conflicting with an earlier report that the "Starboy" singer did not mind the closeness between his girl and her ex. But, it seemed that this was not the case as The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, went on an unfollowing spree in Instagram, hinting of a possible breakup with Gomez. Specifically, he unfollowed Gomez's mom and best friend, Francia Raisa, who donated her kidney to the "Same Old Love" singer.

The Weeknd is still following Gomez, though. He also did the same thing to family and friends of his ex Bella Hadid last year and eventually unfollowed the model in the succeeding months. The Weeknd and Gomez first hinted romance in January this year when the two were seen smooching on a date.
