Google's Motorola Moto X Phone has finally launched – and is already proving to be pretty impressive.

The Moto X will be the world's most customizable phone yet – offering customers over 2,000 possibilities to choose from. The front, back accents, wallpaper, memory, and even a message can all be customized online and shipped straight to your door in four days.

The Moto X is basically "designed by you and assembled in the U.S.A." Thousands of design combinations are available and American customers can receive it in just a matter of days. The phone can also be customized to be made out of wood (or have a wooden design, as shown in the photo). If users don't like their phones, they can send it back within two weeks and have it reassembled with other design options. This is possible because Motorola has movied its manufacturing factory to Fort Worth, Texas, creating 2,000 local jobs. This allows the wait time to be much shorter for American consumers.

Specs for the Motorola X have been confirmed. There are no surprises and the preceding rumors were spot on regarding the specifications.

The phone is 65.3 mm wide and 129.3 mm long. The phone, which wastes no space, is compact and very light at 130G but packs a 4.7 inch AMOLED display with HD 720 p. As expected, it is powered by a 2200 mAh battery.

The rear camera is 10MP Clear Pixel (RGBC) with LED Flash, 1080p HD Video (30fps). The front camera is 2MP with 1080p HD video.

The phone will operate on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and is built on the Motorola X8 mobile computing system architecture. The ram is 2GB and the phone comes with 16GB storage as standard, expandable up to 32GB online. It also comes with 2 years of 50GB storage for free on Google Drive.

The device supports Bluetooth 4.0 LE + EDR, Wifi 802.11, LTE and will be available on all major U.S. carriers.

The Moto X will release in late August and early September for Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular.

Prices will start at $200 for the 16GB version and $250 for the 32GB version. Unlocked versions of the phone will also be sold in Google's Play Store.
