Anna Faris, Chris Pratt update: Faris, Michael Barrett seen being sweet during a lunch date

Months after "Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt and "Scary Movie" actress Anna Faris had called it quits, the latter was often seen with a new man. Now, Faris seemed to be more comfortable being photographed with the reported new guy in her life.

Faris and cinematographer Michael Barrett were spotted in what seemed to be a date, TMZ reported. The two were seen having lunch at the Cutters Crabhouse in Seattle on Friday, Oct. 27. Sources claim that the two looked sweet and intimate, even sharing kisses in between food and wine. A photo circulating also saw the two staring at each other's eyes. The pair were rumored to be dating after several sightings in the past few months, but so far, they had kept mum on what the real score between them is.

Faris, who recently made the news because of her book "Unqualified," which included chapters about her life with ex-beau Pratt, was spotted together with Barrett in different places. Though Faris and Barrett acted discreetly, a source claimed that they dined in at Modo Mio in Los Angeles on two succeeding nights in October.

Prior to this, the cinematographer and the "House of Bunny" star had been seen together in Malibu in September. Faris and Barrett were seen in a carnival wearing baseball caps, probably to keep the paparazzi from prying, but to no avail. Pictures of the two circulated, which made the rumors more prevalent. Barrett and Faris had met on the set of the film "Overboard," which will be released in 2018.

Faris and Pratt were married for eight years before announcing in August that they were deciding to go separate ways. The former couple met on the set of the 2007 film "Take Me Home Tonight." By 2009, the two had exchanged vows in Bali. They are blessed with a 5-year-old son, Jack.
