Out of the several company executives that will be present at the Game Developers Conference 2015, many will be representing Sony in order to debrief the gaming audience on the amount of improvements that will be coming to the company's next generation console, the PlayStation 4. However, the Japanese tech company will also be unveiling its virtual reality gaming headset, named Project Morpheus during the same event.

According to Kit Guru, the unveiling of the headset is expected to take place on Mar. 3, 2015 and during that time, Sony will allocate a total of four hours in explaining the core features of the virtual reality headset as well as its future plans for expanding its market revolving around virtual reality gaming. Between the time that Sony had initially unveiled its product last year to the period that it showcases the VR headset next month, it is possible that Sony had incorporated several changes to the device, along with other tweaks that would augment the virtual gaming experience of the user.

According to the information posted by Polygon, PlayStation's head of worldwide studios Shuhei Yoshida had previously stated that the product was not yet ready to be released for consumer use for the 2014 period. He stated: "We have a good system. People enjoy the Morpheus demo, but it's not enough. It's coming close, but there isn't enough in terms of creating real experiences with a sense of presence. You really need to be able to feel that you are standing on the edge of a cliff. Tech-wise, there are a few things we want to include to really nail it from a hardware and system software standpoint."

Attendees of the GDC will most likely be given a demo of the gaming system, along with information on what the company plans to do for the foreseeable future.
