The second generation Motorolo Moto G 4G has been officially launched in the international scene, practically the same device that hit the market in 2013.

Back then, Motorola released the first generation Moto G, something which was available in 3G and 4G variants. A second generation 3G version only followed suit last year.

This time around, the 4G model hits the scene, practically with the same set of specs and running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat. It also comes with a 4G-capable modem.

Among the features that the Moto G 4G second gen offers include a 5-inch 720p HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM and a non-removable 2390 mAh battery.

The device will come in either black or white color variants and will boast of a water-resistant coating as well. It also comes with an 8MP back camera and a 2 MP front shooter. By default, the Moto G comes with 8GB of internal storage. If that should be insufficient, you can get additional storage using a microSD card which is good for up to 32GB.

At the moment, the Moto 4G 2015 edition is available in the United Kingdom where it is being offered for £149.99 contract-free. However it is expected to make its way into the U.S. soon.

At the moment, retailers such as Tesco, Amazon, Argos, Asda, Sainsbury's, and Carphone Warehouse have reportedly started listing the device. The 2015 Moto G is expected to be made available worldwide within the year.
