After the announcement of Lenovo's K3 Note, which carries a starting price tag of $145, the Chinese tech firm is currently working on yet another affordable handset that is going to carry impressive hardware specifications as the company's previously announced phablet. The device is being called Lenovo A7600-M and will feature a completely different color scheme compared to K3 Note.

As far as the hardware specifications of both handsets are concerned, A7600-M will be running MediaTek's MT6752 chipset that is going to feature ARM's Cortex-A53 CPU. The processor is going to comprise up of eight cores clocked in at 1.7 GHz, along with 2 GB of RAM and ARM's Mali-T760 GPU, allowing the handset to demonstrate the exact same prowess as K3 Note. However, Lenovo's A7600-M will be able to display slightly better performance thanks to its lowered resolution.

While both smartphones possess the 5.5 inch screen size, A7600-M renders the 720p resolution while K3 Note radiates the 1080p resolution. Naturally, when a device packs a denser resolution, more processing and graphics power will be required to deliver a fluid experience. In that case, A7600-M will most likely be able to project a higher score compared to K3 Note in benchmarking tests.

Unlike the company's K3 Note, A7600-M is only going to possess 8 GB of on-board storage, with an option to increase the total amount of storage via microSD card. As for the mobile operating system, it is expected that the upcoming device will be running Google's Lollipop 5.0 update and will present users the following options when wireless network connectivity is concerned.

  • 4G LTE modem
  • 802.11 n wireless standard adapter (with dual-band functionality)

Other similarities between the two handsets include a 13 and 5 MP camera combo and a 3,000 mAh battery. However, users will find that they will be paying a tad bit extra to acquire A7600-M, because the handset is going to carry a price tag of 1000 Yuan (or $163) while K3 Note is currently available to purchase for $145.
