Evolve Patch 1.3 details; update coming for PS4 and Xbox One next week

Turtle Rock Studios is catering to PC gamers first for its asymmetrical multiplayer gaming title, "Evolve." The video game's latest 1.3 patch is live for Microsoft Windows and it brings a number of changes that will effect both hunters and monsters in order to make the game more balanced when both classes engage with each other in combat. Console owners will have to be patient because the patch will be available for next generation consoles PS4, and Xbox One next week.

According GameSpot, the following changes will be coming as soon as gamers install the patch on their systems.

MONSTERS

  • All monsters will be able to see the recent damage on their health bar

Kraken

  • Fixing some flight edge cases which made the monster too powerful or too weak in a particular situation

Kraken Abilities

  • Cool down has been increased by one second
  • Bug has been fixed that caused the Aftershock ability not to break harpoon traps or Arc Mines

Wraith

  • Wraith's movement speed has slowed down, allowing hunters to easily keep track of it. Supernova has become less lethal. Warp Blast has increased damage.

Wraith Abilities

  • Cool down speed reduced by 25 percent
  • Supernova duration decreased by 50 percent
  • Decoy becomes visible for half a second when it is shot. Increased cool down time by 2 seconds
  • Warp blast speed reduced by 40 percent
  • Damage increased by 10 percent

MARKOV

  • Arc mine damage has been reduced by 20 percent
  • Bug fixed where damage extended past the trigger radius
  • Health reduced by 75 percent
  • Arm time has been increased by one second
  • Accuracy increased by 25 percent
  • Damage increased by 20 percent

MAGGIE

  • Harpoon traps arm time has been increased by one second
  • Griffin can now detect stealthed monsters within a 15 meter radius

VAL

  • Increasing her overall effectiveness.
  • Medgun heals 20 percent faster
  • Consumes ammo 2.5 times faster
  • Tranquilizer dart duration increased to 10 seconds for all monsters
