Treyarch, the developing studio behind the "Call of Duty: Black Ops" franchise, has currently remained silent on whether or not it is working on the first person shooter's next installment. According to WCCFtech, if there is going to be a title, it will provide a futuristic gameplay and is going to be far different compared to the previous titles. In short, it is going to be along the same lines as "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare."

A video uploaded by TmarTn on the popular video sharing and streaming website YouTube shows a list of rumors concerning gameplay elements that players could encounter in "Call of Duty: Black Ops III." Given below are all the details that gamers can expect from the upcoming title, assuming there is going to be one.

  • Next-gen graphics (meaning that will only be supported by next-gen consoles and Microsoft Windows)
  • Better campaign gameplay compared to "Advanced Warfare" in terms of plot, mechanics and graphics
  • Campaign will be expected to be open-world but linear
  • Jetpacks or exoskeletons will be included
  • Ability to switch different characters
  • Exosuits will be able to provide wall running ability (similar to wall climbing thanks to Mag gloves in "Advanced Warfare")
  • Zombies to have standalone map packs
  • Dynamic weather control shall be available
  • Larger maps compared to "Advanced Warfare"

According to Twitter account holder shinobi602, "Call of Duty: Black Ops III" will not be like the other games. While the user did not care to mention details on how exactly it would be different, he did respond to a query when asked by fellow Twitter user Max Mracek. The conversation is as follows:

Max Mracek @mracek_max:

"@shinobi602 do u think that exo suits are back in CoD2015?"

shinobi602 @shinobi602:

"@mracek_max Movement will be a little different than Advanced Warfare".

Since no details have been released by Activision or game developing studio Treyarch, it is too early to make assumptions concerning "Call of Duty: Black Ops III." A proper verdict will be given once more leaks have been published.
