Relient K and Doerksen Lead Nominees in Canadian GMA Awards

|PIC1|American artists Relient K and Brian Doerksen are the leading nominees for GMA (Gospel Music Association) Canada's 29th Annual Covenant Awards to be held October 26 in Calgary, Alberta.

During ceremonies held simultaneously in Brampton, Ontario and Calgary, Alberta the nominations for the Covenant Awards were announced in over 45 categories. Relient K snagged seven nominations including nods for Group Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Recorded Song Of The Year.

Brian Doerksen received six nominations including Male Vocalist of the Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Artist of the Year.

Several artists grabbed five nominations including Starfield, Manafest, High Valley, Lianna Klassen, Sebastian Demrey and God Rocks! Bible Toons.

The 29th Annual Covenant Awards will be handed out as part of GMA Canada Week to be held 24-26 October.
