Prayers need direction from Bible to help in kicking off bad habit, says Nick Vujicic

Prayer is indeed powerful, but for limbless evangelist Nick Vujicic, it isn't enough that people simply pray, saying it has to have meaning and direction.

"Got a bad habit? Only praying ain't the key. Intentional blockades, intentional requests for prayer requests, intentional fasting, intentional distractions, intentional accountability.... hope you get the key. Prayer....and being INTENTIONAL," he stressed on his Facebook page. "Habits will be there until YOU get intentional—spiritually, physically and mentally."

In order for people to get the proper spiritual guidance to pray, Vujicic strongly suggested that people start reading God's Word. "The Bible gives us clear direction on the thoughts and attitudes that lead to blessings," he explained.

Vujicic is a very blessed man, since he is currently expecting his second son with wife Kanae, and they have already found the perfect name for him.

"We have landed on a name for our second boy....Dejan Levi Vujicic (pronounced Deyan)," he wrote. "Thank you for your love and prayers."

It was also on Facebook where the happy Christian couple made the announcement of Kanae's pregnancy. Vujicic shared two photos of him, his wife, and first born son Kiyoshi playing around the house with huge smiles on their faces. What's more, Kiyoshi even had on a "MOST AWESOME BIG BROTHER" long-sleeved shirt.

Vujicic wrote, "What's that on Kiyoshi's shirt?? Indeed Kiyoshi will be the MOST AWESOME BIG BROTHER!!! We (are) roughly twelve weeks pregnant!! Thank You Lord for this precious and amazing gift and blessing!! Thank you all for your love, prayers and support!"

Vujicic started his own ministry called "Life Without Limbs" when he was only 17 years old. He moved from Australia to the United States to fulfill his dream of being a motivational speaker. He now goes around the world sharing his inspiring story and how God helped him rise above the difficulties caused by the tetra-amelia syndrome that afflicts him, a rare disorder that leaves a person limbless.
