"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales," which is also being called "Pirates of the Caribbean 5," is going to be the fifth movie belonging to Disney's fantasy movie franchise. Even though pre-production will commence in Australia next month, fans who are eager to witness the next installment in the series will have to wait patiently as the film will not be released until summer 2017.

Johnny Depp will be returning as Captain Jack Sparrow while Orlando Bloom has not yet confirmed if he would return as Will Turner. Christopher Waltz, who is best known as Colonel Hans Landa and Dr. King Schultz in Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" and "Django Unchained," respectively, is rumored to be making an appearance in the next "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie as another pirate.

As for the remainder of the actors, Geoffrey Rush is expected to reprise his role as Hector Barbossa while Javier Bardem will be cast as the film's primary antagonist. According to Deadline, Kaya Scodelario, who starred in the 2014 American science fiction dystopian action thriller film "The Maze Runner," is also rumored to make an appearance in the film.

So far, the entire film series has etched its name in Hollywood as it was able to garner critical ("The Curse of the Black Pearl") and financial (the remaining three films) success. While "Dead Man's Chest" and "On Stranger Tides" were the most successful in terms of box office revenue, the fourth film of the series received the worst reviews in comparison to the previous three. The primary reason for this is reportedly due to the change in plot, where much of the story got abandoned in favor of Captain Jack Sparrow's own goals.

So far, there have been no leaks regarding"Pirates of the Caribbean 5" and if is going to follow in the same footsteps as its prequel, but surely there will be additional rumors that will begin sprouting as soon as filming commences.
