Michael W. Smith Releases 20th Album, Prepares for Tour

|PIC1|Legendary Christian musician Michael W Smith has released his 20th album in the US this week, shortly after celebrating his 50th Birthday.

It's A Wonderful Christmas, released in stores 16 October, presents a collection of original Christmas songs.

The album features three choirs, one being The Choristers of Reigate St Mary's, a London based boy's choir directed by John Tobin and featuring 16 members in ages ranging from 8 to 12 years.

Following Smith's recent stops at Scotland, Denmark, Italy, the singer will head to South Africa for a run of four shows before returning home for a small break.

While in Holland recently, Michael performed before 17,000 fans who commemorated his Birthday by singing "Happy Birthday" to him. to him during the sold out Oct 7 show.

Smith's Christmas single, "Merry Christmas," a duet with special guest Mandisa, goes for radio adds on 16 November while his It's A Wonderful Christmas Symphony tour featuring American Idol finalist Melinda Doolittle and The Katinas kicks off 29 November.
