Josh Duggar greets wife Anna happy birthday on their 7th engagement year

Anna and Josh Duggar celebrate their seventh engagement anniversary the same day they celebrate Anna's birthday. Duggar Family Blog

Despite the scandal he is still facing to this day, Josh Duggar from "19 Kids and Counting" did not pass up the chance to greet his pregnant wife Anna a happy birthday on his Instagram account (@joshduggar).

He posted a photo of him and his wife and wrote, "Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife @annaduggar...we're also celebrating our 7 year engagement anniversary today!"

Of course, his social media post did not come without any words of encouragements from fans and negative comments from bashers. There were several people who commented that Anna looked lovely, while there were some who thought that Josh should "lock himself up in the basement forever" instead of being in social media because of what he did in the past.

For their part, the rest of the Duggar family also greeted Anna on their Facebook page by sharing a recent photo of her, then writing, "This is a young woman we love so dearly! Anna is not only a wonderful wife and mother but she is a dear daughter-in-law to us and a precious friend. I'm so touched by her steadfast faith in Christ and her kindness at every turn."

"When you pray for your children growing up you always think about who they will marry and who will end up joining your family. Wow, we are so thankful that God brought Anna into our lives," they added. "Anna, we love you so much. Happy, happy, happy 27th birthday!!!"

Anna is currently pregnant with her and Josh's fourth child—a daughter, who will be Jim Bob and Michelle's fifth Duggar grandbaby.

When Josh's child molestation past resurfaced, Anna firmly stood by her husband's side and expressed how proud she is that he is "someone who had gone down a wrong path and had humbled himself before God and those whom he had offended. Someone who had received the help needed to change the direction of his life and do what is right."
