Anna, the wife of 19 Kids and Counting's eldest son Josh Duggar is going to give birth to a baby girl in a few months and the well-experienced mother (she already has two sons and a daughter!) is talking about the value of patience.

In the Duggar Family Blog, Anna said that she is blessed having her mother, mother-in-law and husband because they are all so patient and calm. However, she admitted that "being patient does not always come naturally" to her.

Anna shared that her mum has a quiet, understanding voice while she is loud and boisterous in comparison. "She is just so meek and so humble, and she knows how to pray and seek the Lord. Each day growing up, unless I got up late, I saw my mum having her quiet time with the Lord and spending time in prayer," she said.

Anna said that her mum was such a great example because she always sought to honour the Lord. And Anna believes that this is what Christians should do whenever they feel their patience is running out.

"When I feel that frustration rising, I remind myself to stop and breathe and pray. I ask God how He would handle the situation. If we humble ourselves and go to God for wisdom, He will be there to answer us," she said.

There were times before when Anna would try to deal with her impatience herself and figure things out on her own, but things don't always turn out the way they should, so she advised people to seek God for wisdom.

"Patience is not something that we can fully achieve because there will always be those frustrations in life. But there will always be a perfect response, and it's not always easy to figure out what that is, but that is what we are working towards," she said.
