Jessa Duggar and husband Ben thrilled as Baby Seewald makes first appearance

The uproar surrounding the Duggar family from "19 Kids and Counting" due to eldest son Josh's past child molestation allegations is far from over, but that is not stopping the family from placing their focus on subjects worthy of celebration — in particular, Ben and Jessa Seewald's growing baby.

On their Facebook page, the family shared the picture of Jessa's first ultrasound and wrote, "Take a look at this sweet baby! Jessa is now 19 weeks and this precious one is growing. We cannot wait until we can kiss this face!"

The gender of the Seewald couple's first baby is still unknown, but even if it's a boy or girl, Jessa is already overflowing with love for the baby growing inside her belly.

On her Instagram account (@jessaseewald), Jessa shared the same photo of the ultrasound and wrote, "#BabySeewald makes a first appearance today!!! #19weeks3days Yay! Almost halfway! Your daddy and I love you soooo much! ❤️❤️ #FirstUltrasound --with@ben_seewald"

Jessa's husband Ben is also over the moon over their growing baby, and he shared the same photo as well on his Instagram account (@ben_seewald). He captioned it: "#BabySeewald 's first ultrasound!!! :-)"

Ben and Jessa's baby is due on Nov. 1, 2015, the same day the young couple got married last year. The photo of the ultrasound finally dispelled rumours that Jessa might be pregnant with twins, a rumour her mother Michelle admitted to have started since she said that twins run on her side of the family.

The couple earlier expressed their desire to adopt, so Ben and Jessa might consider pursuing that after she gives birth this year.

"We hope to adopt a lot of kids," Jessa earlier told PEOPLE. "If God blesses us with biological kids of our own, it's not going to quench our desire to adopt."
