iOS 9 concept update, release date: Improved performance and stability from Apple's latest iOS

 iOS9updates

Irrespective of the amount of features that were assimilated into the iOS 8 update, users were still plagued with copious number of issues. Even after Apple released a string of updates, several iOS device owners continued to suffer from performance, connectivity and battery issues. In order to combat this, Apple will be releasing its next iOS update, which has been named iOS 9. While Apple has not given an exact release date of its latest update, it is expected that the company will be showcasing it to the public at the WWDC 2015 event, which is scheduled to take place in June.

The difference between the iOS 9 update and its predecessors is that Apple's operating system developers will be more focused on optimizing the platform for improved performance and stability, according to the information posted by Macworld. Apple's acquisition of firms such as Embark and HopStop will allow the Cupertino tech giant to improve its maps service for the iOS 9. Furthermore, with the latest update, the company's personal assistant known as Siri might be able to function within third party applications, making the experience more flexible than ever.

Before the company's iOS 9 update is officially announced, Apple will be releasing the iOS 8.2 update, which is expected to provide support for the company's upcoming wearable, dubbed the iWatch. With the update, it can be assumed that iWatch and iPhone owners will be able to sync both devices together in order to provide a whole new level of interaction with mobile devices.

It can also be expected that the upcoming iOS update will not bring any new features to the table and that the developers' key goal will be to optimize the platform for better performance, leading to a much more fluid functioning of the device during multi-tasking and immersive mobile gaming applications. So far, Apple has not commented on the features that will be present in the iOS 9 update so further details will be made available when the company's unveils its iWatch on March 9, 2015.
