A lot of celebrations have been going on in the Dillard household, with Derick and Jill first celebrating Derick's 26th birthday and now being given another baby shower by Derick's church family.
Jill shared a photo of the intimate baby shower, which was held at The Olive Garden, on her Instagram account (@jillmdillard). There was a single "It's a boy!" balloon in the photo, with Jill and the rest of the attendees looking up at Derick while he was speaking.
"Thank you @OliveGarden and Derick's church family for the baby shower today! We were so blessed! #babydilly #OliveGarden #babyshower," Jill captioned the photo.
She and Derick received an earlier baby shower from Derick's colleagues at Walmart. It was Derick who shared the photo on his Instagram account (@derickdillard) which showed him and Jill surrounded by some Duggar family members and Derick's mother Cathy Byrum. There were a ton of presents in front of the couple, which included a baby basket, clothes, and some diapers.
"Thank you to my awesome team at work for putting on an unforgettable baby shower for Jill and me! #babydilly #19kids#firstbabyshowerexperience," he wrote.
Derick and Jill caused quite a ruckus in their social media accounts after posting photos of themselves carrying babies and people thought they were already showing the world the first photo of Baby Dilly.
But in the caption, Derick explained that he is only carrying a friend's baby: "So sweet finally getting to meet baby Jesiah yesterday! @thecaldwellfamily #babypractice"
Jill followed suit recently by carrying a baby boy who is all bundled up. But it turned out it was a baby she helped deliver. She wrote in her caption: "So blessed to help deliver this little guy at home this morning, just 2 weeks away from my own due date! I previously delivered two of his older sisters. Gary Martin Takehiro Y. born today at 9:49am 7lbs. 8oz. 20 inches long."
