The game developing and publishing company Capcom is attempting to gain the attention of gamers towards its fighting games by hosting the 2015 Capcom Cup, featuring none other than the company's "Ultra Street Fighter IV" title. The tournament will feature a total of 32 players, which are twice more compared to the amount of players that were present in last year's tournament.

Coming to the additional details, 16 premier events will be held and the 15 players that are able to secure the most amount of points, will be able to find themselves a spot at the end-of-the-year tournament. According to Event Hubs, last year's champion, EG Momochi has already been given one of the positions. As for the remaining players, they will only be able to advance in the tournament if they are able to win two out of three games until the competition features no more than its top eight contestants.

The finalists will be competing in three out of five matches. The event is scheduled to take place in March 2015, and will begin in the United States. The events' timeline have been scheduled through November 2015. As for the prize money, the collaboration of Sony and Capcom have enabled both parties to increase the total pot to $500,000 throughout the year. Given below is the prize pool distribution.
