Can Jim Bob Duggar recite all of his 19 kids' birthdays?

Can Jim Bob Duggar recall all of his children's birthdays? Facebook/ Duggar Family Official

For someone with a family as large as the Duggars from 19 Kids and Counting, remembering each person's birthday could be quite a challenge.

When NBC journalist Erica Hill asked the show's patriarch Jim Bob if he knows each of his kids' birthdays, the Duggar dad gamely took on the challenge.

He started with his wife Michelle's birthday, which is on September 13. Jim Bob did not have any trouble remembering any of his elder kids' birthdays, but it was a different story when he got to the younger kids' birthdays.

"Josh is March 3rd, Jana and John are January 12, and Jill is May 17th," he said. "Okay, Jessa's is November 4th, and Jinger is December 21st. And then we have Joseph is January 20th, and then Josiah is August 28. Then we have Joy is October 28, and then we have Jeremiah and Jeddiah which is December 30th."

Recalling all those birthdays clearly put Jim Bob to the test as he asked for more time and quipped, "I have never done this before!"

He continued with Jason, whose birthday is on April 21. "Then we have James, July 7th?" he half asked. When the rest of the Duggar family members nodded their agreement, he continued: "Justin is - hold on a second, it's coming to me - November 15, then we have Jackson is May 23rd?"

The younger Duggars said, "Yup!" So he proceeded with Johanna. Jim Bob said her birthday is on October 15, but he was wrong and the rest of the Duggars chorused "no." Turns out, her birthday is on the 11th of October.

When he got to Jennifer, Jim Bob's other kids began coaching him because it really looked like he was having a tough time remembering their birthdays. It helped though, and he got it right - August 2.

"Jordyn Grace is December 18, and then Josie is December 10," he finished.

Good going Jim Bob!
