Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar from 19 Kids and Counting are overjoyed with the news that their daughter Jessa is pregnant with her first child, so soon after elder sister Jill just gave birth to first son Israel David Dillard.

"I've heard people say how wonderful it is to have those grandchildren," Michelle said in an interview with The Morning Blend. "It is like ten times better than what they said."

She and husband Jim Bob joked that "the multiplication process" has begun now that their daughers and daughter-in-law are about to give birth.

"It is such a joy!" gushed Michelle. "I am just so thankful to have all these grandbabies coming along, doubling the number of grandchildren this year. We've gone from three grandchildren to six."

The couple's first three grandchildren are Mackynzie, Michael, and Marcus, the children of eldest Duggar son Josh and Anna. Anna is currently carrying their fourth child, a girl, who will be the fifth Duggar grandbaby following Jill and Derick Dillard's son Israel David.

When the grandchildren come to visit, Michelle said it's like one big party especially since they still have young kids at home, and there is nothing more satisfying than to see their kids and grandkids run and play together.

There has also been a rumor that Jessa might be carrying twins, and Michelle admitted that she might have been the one who started it. She and Jim Bob were so thrilled when Jessa made the announcement that she told her pregnant daughter, "Who knows Jess, you may have twins!"

"Because in our family, twins kind of run in the maternal line and surely somewhere along the way one of the girls will possibly have twins," explained Michelle.

The Duggar couple said that they are proud to be a "family ministry" that encourages others to love God, their families and their children.
