The first person shooter video game developed by 2K Australia and Gearbox studios has unlocked a new playable character for gamers of all platforms to try out, Lady Hammerlock. Additional details state that the playable character also goes by the name of Lady Aurelia the Baroness. In terms of character relationships, she is the only sibling of Sir Alistair Hammerlock, the playable character who made his first appearance in "Borderlands 2."

Skill-wise, Lady Hammerlock possesses quite a repertoire of abilities that have been sectioned under three skill trees. Her primary ability revolves around her Cold as Ice action skill. When the skill is completely charged, the player can execute a move that allows her to release her Frost Diadem Shard out into the open. The shard then attaches to an enemy that is in close proximity to the player. Upon attaching, the shard releases a steady stream of damage until the timer runs out or until the enemy is killed. If the enemy is killed by the shard before the time expires, then the item will attach to another enemy that is in close range.

In addition to the aforementioned skill, Lady Hammerlock's remaining forte lies in her sniping and boosting damage abilities. Players will be able to receive this bonus upon executing a series of consecutive head shots. The Cold Money skill initiates elemental damage on her enemies in the form of ice along with adding Cryo damage to any of the weapons that the player has her equipped with.

Unfortunately, in order for gamers to experience the new playable character's flurry of attacks, they will have to dish out $10. Lady Hammerlock is currently available on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms. The content will be available to purchase today.
