After the announcement of the company's latest MacBook, which starts from $1,299, Apple, the most valuable company in world, unveiled one of the most highly anticipated devices of 2015, the Apple Watch. Officially, the product will be launching on April 24, 2015 but if consumers want to get their hands on the wearable as quickly as possible, then Apple has also started a pre-order process that will commence from April 10, 2015.

The Apple Watch will carry a starting price tag of $349, which is the base model and is referred to as the entry level Sport Edition. Details of each model has been presented below:

  • 38 mm Silver Aluminum Case with White Sport Band: $349
  • 42 mm Silver Aluminum Case with White Sport Band: $399
  • 38 mm Silver Aluminum Case with Blue Sport Band: $349

Additionally, the mid-ranged wearable is called the Apple Watch, and will be available in the following variants:

According to the pricing details available on Apple's website, the model with the highest price is $17,000 and so far, the company has not given word on whether or not it intends to release more expensive models in the near future.

As for the battery life, Engadget states that the smartwatch will be able to provide up to 18 hours, which in comparison to the other competitors' offerings, is a lot of difference.
