Fun-loving Amy Duggar, 28, has just gotten engaged to her boyfriend Dillon King, 27, and she has intimated that they will be abstaining from sex before marriage.

"We're going to wait for marriage," the aspiring country singer told Radar Online. "I have made mistakes in the past, but I can tell you that is something we are waiting on."

Amy has admitted that "it's hard" for them to stick to their commitment, but they are very determined to see it through.

Another thing she revealed was that she has no plans of having babies so soon after tying the knot, just like her cousins Jill Dillard (who has given birth a few months back to Israel David) and Jessa Seewald (who is pregnant with baby number one).

"I don't plan on getting pregnant right after marriage," she said. "I want to travel and enjoy not waking up in the middle of the night with a baby."

Amy revealed news of her engagement on her Instagram account (@amyduggar) by sharing a close-up photo of her ring. "He loves the Lord, he makes me laugh uncontrollably, he's loyal, he's patient, he's my best friend. Of course I said yes!!" she wrote, referring to Dillon.

It's quite obvious that Amy is high on love, and her fans want to be a part of the couple's happy journey by inquiring through e-mail how they can send letters and gifts. Amy is overwhelmed by their support, so much so that she will be writing a thank you note to each and everyone who sends them anything.

"Wedding bells are about to ring! I'm excited to get started writing on all these hand written letters! I'm thankful to everyone who follows us and is excited about our big day! He's amazing.. I can't believe he picked me!" she said.
