Duggar cousin Amy has just gotten engaged to her boyfriend Dillon King, and the "19 Kids and Counting" family could not be happier for her.
Amy announced the news of her engagement on her Instagram account (@amyduggar) by posting a photo of her wearing the ring while holding on to her fiance. "I'm so happy to announce... WE ARE ENGAGED!!!! He loves the Lord, he makes me laugh uncontrollably, he's loyal, he's patient, he's my best friend! Of course I said yes!! l love you so much!" she wrote.
Amy's happiness is contagious, and the spirited Duggar girl even shared another photo of her and Dillon standing side by side. "These past few days have been better than I could have ever imagined! Life with you makes perfect sense. You're my bestfriend," she said.
Her uncle Jim Bob and aunt Michelle later offered the couple their congratulations by sharing some intimate family photos on their Facebook page. They wrote, "We are so excited for our niece Amy Duggar and Dillon King on getting engaged. We tell every couple that as a husband and wife individually draw close to God, they will draw close to each other. We love you Amy & Dillon and pray that God will continue to bless your relationship as you put Him first in your lives!"
The congratulations did not end there. Amy's pregnant cousin Jessa Seewald also echoed her parents' sentiments about serving the Lord through marriage. She wrote on her Instagram account (@jessaseewald), "Congrats to my cousin Amy on her engagement! You and Dillon are perfect for each other! Love you both, and look forward to seeing how God uses the two of you together!"
