Amy Duggar gushes that honeymoon with Dillon King is like 'heaven on earth'

Amy Duggar King can't stop raving about her honeymoon with husband Dillon at the Excellence Playa Mujeres hotel in Cancún, Mexico, even saying that the place is like "heaven on earth."

"Mexico is amazing!" she told Us Magazine. "If we aren't taking a dip in the ocean, then we are enjoying our private terrace and splash pool!"

From enjoying fiestas, tequila tastings, fancy French dinners and watching live shows at the theatre, it really looks like the newlyweds are having a grand time. What makes the honeymoon even more spectacular, according to Amy, is that she and Dillon have bonded in a way like never before.

"We're just so in love," she told PEOPLE. "This trip has definitely brought us closer together. Before we had boundaries in our relationship. Now we wake up next to each other every day! It's been awesome."

Even if they have no activities lined up for the day, Amy still finds herself enjoying because she is with her husband. "Some days we're in the cabana bed all day. It's nice to just relax and focus on our marriage," she said.

Even as Amy and Dillon enjoy their honeymoon, there have been some bashers who criticised the happy wife for wearing a bikini during their honeymoon, and for sharing that photo on her social media page.

Amy's female cousins, the daughters of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar from the cancelled TLC reality show "19 Kids and Counting," have been brought up to be conservative about their bodies. That is why they are never spotted wearing anything that shows the knees or cleavage.

Many have recognised Amy as the rebellious Duggar cousin who marches to her own beat, but Amy has defended herself over her bashers, saying she still upholds Christian morals even though she does not necessarily agree with the rules imposed by her uncle and aunt.
