With more than a month left before the showing of the first part "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay," fans are mulling over what will happen to the characters. Just like in the book, the movie adaptation will pick up where the previous film left off.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1" will be released on Nov. 21, and the second part will hit theaters a year later, on Nov. 20, 2015. Below is the list of what can be expected to happen to the characters of "The Hunger Games" in the upcoming first part of "Mockingjay."

Katniss Everdeen – Katniss will be the face of the rebellion after her stint during the last two "Hunger Games." After she escapes the arena in the Quarter Quell, she gets shipped to District 13 where she will sulk, not knowing what has happened to Peeta.

Peeta Mellark – Peeta is captured by the people in the Capitol, and he gets tortured in order to extract information about Katniss and the rebellion. He will be transformed and used as a means to go against Katniss and what she stands for.

Gale Hawthorne – Gale will be one of the troop leaders for District 13. Katniss and Gale will get into a fight because Gale is willing to make sacrifices in the name of the rebellion. However, Katniss insists that Peeta must be saved.

Primrose Everdeen – Primrose will be in the District 13 where she will take part as a medical practitioner attending to the wounded.

Finnick Odair – Finnick will be very emotional after he loses the love of his life to the Capitol. He will not be in the best state or form while staying in District 13.

President Snow – President Snow is definitely not pleased with the rebellion, and he is determined to put down the representation of that rebellion - the Mockingjay. He has to deal with a major coup de etat, which threatens his position and leadership.

President Coin – President Coin emits a cold and firm aura. She is determined to make Katniss live up to her position as the face of the rebellion to boost the morale of the people who have chosen to fight the Capitol.
