The cast of "Sister Wives" is steadily growing as Kody and Robyn have announced that they are expecting their second child. According to a report from People, the baby is due on Jan. 7, 2016 and when born, the infant will become the eighteenth child in the family.

As of the time of writing, Kody has 17 children with his four wives. With his previous legal wife, Meri Barber, Kody has one daughter, Mariah. She was born in 1995.

With Janelle, Kody has six children: Logan, Madison, Hunter, Garrison, Gabriel, and Savannah. The eldest, Logan, was born in 1994 while the youngest, Savannah, was born in 2004.

Kody and Christine also have six children together: Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely. Aspyn was born in 1995 while the youngest, Truely, was born to the family in 2010.

Robyn and Kody already have one kid together, Solomon. Robyn also has three children from her previous marriage; Dayton, Breanna, and Aurora.

The Brown family is a part of a polygamous, fundamentalist Mormon church known as the Apostolic United Brethren. For the first five seasons, Kody was legally married to Meri and considered Janelle, Christine, and Robyn as his spiritual wives. However, all of this changed when Meri and Kody got a divorce at the tail-end of season 5.

During the season 5 finale, Meri divorced Kody but for a good reason — she did it in order for Kody and Robyn to marry, which would be the first step needed for Kody to adopt Robyn's three children. However, the report also states that Robyn's ex-husband may be an obstacle in the family's goals of acquiring custody over the kids.

The legal battle between the Browns and Robyn's ex-husband may be the main focus of season 5 and the addition of one more child could complicate matters even worse. Fans speculate that the jury might rule out Kody's capabilities to provide for Robyn's three kids since he still has to sustain 15 others.

TLC has yet to announce a premiere date for "Sister Wives" season 6.
