OnePlus One price and sale news: Just £179 from June 1 to 7

The OnePlus One smartphone may not necessarily be that popular to most folks. But for the ones who do, hearing that the device has just marked down its retail price should create quite a frenzy.

The OnePlus One is a high-end device that is being offered at a very reasonable price. The touted flagship killer took the smartphone segment by storm which initially came out with a £269 SRP last October.

And as most folks now eagerly await its successor in the OnePlus Two, focus is now on the special week-long sale for the global version of the OnePlus One.

The OnePlus One will put on sale for just £179, a big price slash from its original price when it debuted in October of last year. While it was not mentioned as to why the sale was made, there is a chance that it could be in preparation for the coming of the much awaited successor, OnePlus Two.

A look at the OnePlus website will feature the said device being offered for just £179. However the thing is, buyers who are bent on getting one may need to act fast since the offer will be for a limited time and presumably while stocks last.

The specially marked down OnePlus One price will be offered from June 1 to 7, providing folks with ample time to try and get hold of one. The deal however excludes the Indian and Southeast Asia.

For the sake of those folks who are unfamiliar with the OnePlus One, the smartphone features a 5.5-inch 1080p IPSLCD Screen and runs on a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm quad-core processor.

The OnePlus One will be supported by 3GB of RAM and will be available in 16GB and 64GB variants. Other features include a 13MP main camera and a front-facing 5MP shooter. The OnePlus One runs on CyanogenMod OS based on the Android platform.
