"Duck Dynasty" star Korie Robertson wants to be a loving and forgiving Christian—one who lives to serve God in all aspects of life and shuns all that is evil in this world.

One of her favourite Bible passages reflects Korie's ideal as a Christian.

On her Instagram account (@bosshogswife), Korie shared a photo of the Bible verses Romans 12:9 to 13. It says: "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honour one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord's people who are in need. Practice hospitality."

She then writes, "After posting part of this passage I had to post the whole thing. This is one of my favourite, most beautifully challenging writings in the Bible. Praying that I am living this."

"Duck Dynasty" patriarch Willie Robertson's better half is actually promoting her new book called "Strong and Kind: And Other Important Character Traits Your Child Needs to Succeed." She wrote it with her own mother Chrys Howard. The book gives parents practical tips and advice on how to guide their children into developing God-given strength and kindness.

"If we can teach our kids to hold on, to be sturdy through the storms of life, the outcome might be better than they ever imagined it could be," an excerpt from the book reads. "Teach your children to be kind no matter what other people do. We never know how valuable a kind word might be to that person."

Korie says children learn from their parents, and this is why parents must set a good example in being strong and kind role models.
