"Duck Dynasty" star Korie Robertson is a big-time bookworm and often likes to share on her social media accounts some of the best reads she's discovered.

She is also a good writer and has written a book called "Strong and Kind: And Other Important Character Traits Your Child Needs to Succeed."

The Christian mother is sharing some excerpts from the book in hopes that fellow parents will learn from it.

She wrote the book with the help of her mother Chrys Howard. Her husband Willie also shared some stories and gems of wisdom on it.

The book is filled with stories, advice, and tips on how parents can guide their children into developing God-given strength and kindness.

On her Instagram account (@bosshogswife), Korie shared a photo of the book with a line about strength taken from it: "If we can teach our kids to hold on, to be sturdy through the storms of life, the outcome might be better than they ever imagined it could be."

She then captioned it, "Praying for our kids to be strong in the knowledge of who they are and Whose they are so when those tough times in life come (and they will come) they may bend, but they will not break."

Korie also added the Bible verse Ephesians 6:10 that says: "Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power."

In another post, she highlighted kindness and a statement from the book reads, "Teach your children to be kind no matter what other people do. We never know how valuable a kind word might be to that person."

Korie then wrote a prayer for all kids to be kind. She noted that kindness often starts with the parents, so they better set a good example.
