Bible.org Spreading Gospel through Internet Bible studies

The Internet, which has become the fastest and the most accessible means of communication in today's world, has become a great tool for evangelism and bringing the news of the gospel to all nations.

Bible.org is a resource website that has seen this powerful tool and is now attempting to use it to spread the gospel and good news of Christ.

The ministry has grown greatly and is now serving thousands of Bible studies to people worldwide, as well as ministries. A vision has been promoted by the organisation to help equip pastors, teachers, small group leaders and missionaries all around the world. Bible.org recently has renewed its aims to use the power of the internet which can allow the words of God to be spread even to potentially dangerous and previously 'closed' countries.

Bible.org is a non-profit organisation founded in 1995 for the purpose of developing and distributing sound, evangelical Bible study materials in electronic format so that anyone may have access to sound biblical studies even from their home.

The ministry has proved to be a great help for the missionaries and translators using the site for resources as well as for people's better understanding of God's truth and applying it in their lives.

One of the goals of Bible.org is to provide better tools and opportunities for people around the world to know Christ by developing a freely available modern translation of the Bible. The translations aim to show the transcribers' notes and why they chose the wording they did as they transcribed from the best available Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek texts.

Also Bible.org states that it wishes to provide on-line Bible studies that help Christians mature in their faith and become active and more effective in ministry and evangelism, giving their time and talents to serve others. The Bible.org is also the home of the NET Bible, which is a modern English translation of the Bible with over 60,000 translators' notes, very helpful for missionaries, available for free download. In addition, also included is the Wycliffe translators toolkit.
