Four new games have just been added to the list of Xbox One backward compatible titles.
Xbox Live director of programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb broke the news about the new backward compatible titles on Twitter.
The first of the four games being added to the list is "Alan Wake's American Nightmare." Players looking for a new horror title to try out may want to take a look at this title. "Alan Wake's American Nightmare" was also well received back when it was initially launched in 2012, so fans who have long been curious about it now have a new opportunity to play it.
The second of the four new games made available via Xbox One backward compatibility is "Lego Batman: The Videogame." With the majority of "Batman" video games available on the market being targeted at older players, "Lego Batman: The Videogame" provides a little bit of contrast since parents can play this title together with their kids.
Also being made available to Xbox One owners via the Xbox One's backward compatibility feature is "Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space."
The last of the four new Xbox One backward compatible games is the puzzle/racing title known as "Trials HD."
It's unclear if Microsoft will be releasing any more backward compatible titles this February, although fans will know about any new additions right away since the company has previously announced that they will release the games as soon as they become available as opposed to launching them as part of monthly bundles.
In related news, one more backward compatible title that fans can reportedly look forward to playing soon is "Hitman: Absolution."
In speaking to Worthplaying.com, both Square Enix Senior Director of Public Relations Reilly Brennan and IO Interactive Studio Head Hannes Seifert revealed that "Hitman: Absolution" would be made available for the Xbox One via backward compatibility, though the two did not say exactly when that would happen.
With the next "Hitman" game coming out on March 11, there's a chance that the backward compatible version of "Hitman: Absolution" may be released just a few days before the said date.
