It may just be the start of the new year, but wrestling fans are already looking forward to April 3, 2016, the date when WrestleMania 32 takes place.

With just a few months left to build up this year's card, wrestling fans are already eager to find out about what matches could potentially take place, and there are certainly more than a few rumors hinting at numerous possibilities.

One of the most popular rumors making the rounds suggests that Brock Lesnar could be headlining the wrestling spectacle alongside current World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) world heavyweight champion Roman Reigns in what would be a rematch of the WrestleMania 31 main event. The roles would be reversed this time, however, as Reigns would be the one entering the match as the champion and Lesnar would be the challenger.

According to The Inquisitr, this potential main event could also involve Lesnar winning this year's Royal Rumble match.

Aside from Lesnar, popular mat technician Daniel Bryan has also been mentioned as a potential WrestleMania 32 headliner. Rumors suggest that Bryan could also win the Royal Rumble match, which would grant him the spot opposite Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 32.

According to TribLive's Justin LaBar, Reigns could also end up taking on John Cena in the main event of WrestleMania 32. LaBar suggests that the Cena-Reigns match could be a symbolic passing of the torch encounter, with the company's longtime public face giving his stamp of approval to the star of the next generation.

One thing that has been confirmed for WrestleMania 32 is that The Rock will be a participant, although it's still unclear if he will be wrestling a match.

If The Rock does opt to wrestle, then the speculation will turn toward who his potential opponent could be. Lesnar and Triple H have been mentioned as potential opponents for The Rock, although either possibility remains uncertain.

WrestleMania 32 will likely be a grand spectacle when it finally takes place, although at this point, it's still largely shrouded in mystery.
