'Watch Dogs 2' release: game to feature new protagonist in new locations

It was not long ago when Ubisoft released "Watch Dogs" but reports are already claiming that its sequel is already in the works. This is good news for those who are already marking their calendars for the release of the new game as rumors say that "Watch Dogs 2" will feature a new protagonist.

The original "Watch Dogs" follows the story of hacker Aiden Pearce who battles his enemies with the use of information technology and his hacking abilities as he turns the City of Chicago into a large weapon. But according to KDrama Stars, both the game developers and publisher threw an idea on the table that Raymond "T-Bone" Kenney would replace Aiden Pearce as the protagonist for the sequel of the game. T-Bone's background and his personal connections with people from ctOS make him a good candidate to be a protagonist.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot has been quoted as saying, "I can't say because I don't know actually. We'll see. We knew it would be polarizing; some people loved the characters and some didn't. It was difficult to please everybody with that character. Now, having seen the reaction, we know what we will do next to improve that."

The report also added that "Watch Dogs 2" will include new locations, including Tokyo, Singapore, Dubai, San Francisco, Silicon City, Stockholm, Beijing, and London. It was reported that New York and New Jersey will be added to "Watch Dogs 2," but New Jersey was already added as a form of update to the first "Watch Dogs" game.

Aside from new locations, new items, weapons, and vehicles will be added in the sequel of the game. Moreover, better game graphics, more places to explore, new side-missions, and new activities will be added.

"Watch Dogs 2" will be headed to the latest consoles PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as to PC on July 2016.
