"Tom Clancy's The Division" is expected to feature a lot of content upon being released, but is an end-game raid also included in that package?
In a video posted by Arrekz Gaming, the narrator talks about some of the pieces of evidence pointing to the possible existence of an end-game raid.
To start off, Arrekz talks about the possible starting point of the raid rumor itself.
According to him, the rumor originated from a Reddit user who claims to have spoken with someone who works at Ubisoft Massive, the game's developer. The original Reddit post containing the rumor has reportedly been deleted.
Arrekz then goes into the meat of the rumor itself.
According to the rumor, "Tom Clancy's The Division" will add an end-game raid two weeks after the game itself has been launched. That would mean that the rumored raid will arrive sometime during the last week of March.
The reason that the two week period between the release of the game and the arrival of the raid exists is, apparently, so that players can have enough time to finish the content that is available at that time.
The rumored end-game raid will take place on Rikers Island.
There are also said to be two different versions of the raid that will be made available to players, with one that becomes accessible at level 27 and the other one only becoming playable at level 30.
A total of eight players will reportedly be given access to the end-game raid, although they will also have to complete two prior missions in order to qualify.
Moving on to the pieces of evidence pointing to the possible existence of the raid, Arrekz suggests that numerous aspects of the rumored end-game content are plausible. The description of the rumored raid even falls in line with other examples of raids that have been released for other games.
Arrekz is careful to point out, however, that there's also evidence pointing to the raid not being real, specifically the part about Rikers Island. Arrekz points out that there would be no obvious reason for the raid to take place in that particular setting, and that it may even make more sense for the end-game mission to be set elsewhere.
For now, it's still unclear if there really is an end-game raid inside "Tom Clancy's The Division," and more details about it may not be available until the title itself has been launched.
