Fans clamoring for more story-based content to be included in "Street Fighter V" will be glad to know that a prologue has already been confirmed for the game.

In an interview with Hadoken, "Street Fighter V" producer Yoshinori Ono revealed that the prologue would be introducing players to the characters and to the world inside the game.

Ono did not talk too much about what the prologue will be like, although he did point out that they have a different focus for "Street Fighter V," so that could affect the final product.

Ono also said that the new art style used for the upcoming game's prologue will be different from what has been featured before. He added that he hopes fans will like the new art style selected for "Street Fighter V."

The "Street Fighter V" prologue will be available right from day one.

In addition to revealing a prologue for the game, Ono also hinted that there may still be more news pertaining to a more comprehensive narrative for "Street Fighter V" coming in the future.

In the past, Capcom has expressed their desire to tweak their approach when it comes to creating story mode content for "Street Fighter V," PlayStation Lifestyle reported.

The availability of a prologue should allow Capcom to engage players more with their story mode content, although the developer will still need to do more if it hopes to satisfy its audience.

Ono was also asked about the possibility of a new anime series or movie possibly being released alongside "Street Fighter V."

In response, Ono said that there is still nothing to announce regarding a new series or movie for now, although he indicated that things could still change in the future.

"Street Fighter V" will be released for both PlayStation 4 and personal computer (PC) on Feb. 16.
