Capcom has now provided more specific details regarding the upcoming cross-platform beta they have planned for "Street Fighter 5."

First off, Capcom announced that the beta launches initially on PlayStation 4 (PS4) starting Oct. 21. During this round, only Ken, Necalli, R. Mika, and Vega are playable, IGN reported.

After that initial phase, the servers for the "Street Fighter 5" will be taken down on Oct. 22 and then subsequently brought back up a day later on Oct. 23. As the beta comes back online, players will now have access to Rashid.

"Street Fighter 5" beta will be officially available for personal computers (PCs) also on Oct. 23, which is a day earlier than what was previously indicated by Capcom. The date also marks the first day that cross-platform play will be available in the "Street Fighter 5" beta. It's also worth noting that Karin will be unlocked in the game on this day.

The servers for the "Street Fighter 5" will again go offline for a while before being brought back up again on Oct. 24. From that day forward, cross-platform play and the beta itself will be available up until a day later on Oct. 25.

Capcom has already reminded players that the beta will most likely present some bugs all throughout the testing process, Gamespot reported.

The good news, however, is that players should have access to some other features such as leaderboards for PS4 and PC players, ranked matchmaking, and even the ability to view others' profiles.

Players will also be able to earn Fight Money all throughout the duration of the "Street Fighter 5" beta, although they should know that it will be taken away at the end of the testing period.

Currently, the only way for players to gain access to the "Street Fighter 5" beta is by pre-ordering the game itself.
