Electronic Arts (EA) has finally revealed more about the downloadable content (DLC) that will be coming to "Star Wars Battlefront."

Details regarding the DLC plans for the game came from EA COO Peter Moore.

According to Moore, there will be four different expansion packs that are currently planned for "Star Wars Battlefront." Moore indicated that the four expansion packs will be introducing "new universes" to the game, though what exactly that means is unknown for now.

Moore also revealed that there will be new weapons and player actions that will be introduced to "Star Wars Battlefront" via the upcoming expansion packs.

EA's COO also said that the expansion packs are scheduled to come out anywhere between 12 to 18 months after the game itself has been officially launched.

Unfortunately, that's about all in terms of new details that Moore revealed about the DLC plans for "Star Wars Battlefront," although it's a fair bet that more news will be coming out soon with the game nearing its official launch.

Those who want to enjoy the content that will be introduced via the expansion packs can purchase the DLC pass for the game, according to Gamespot.

The DLC pass will be on sale for $50 and it will allow buyers to get their hands on new content introduced to the game two weeks before everyone else can.

Those who will not opt to get the DLC pass can also purchase the expansion packs separately. Each individual expansion pack will be available for $15.

In related news, a new trailer is also giving fans a firsthand look at one of the free bits of DLC that will be coming to "Star Wars Battlefront," according to Eurogamer.

The trailer gives players a look at The Battle of Jakku map.

Players will be able to get their hands on The Battle of Jakku map starting Dec. 8.

"Star Wars Battlefront" will be released on Nov. 19.
