More news about "Pokémon Z" and "Pokémon Go" could be coming very soon.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting official news about both games for a while now, and that wait may finally end by Dec. 15.

According to Yibada, rumors surrounding both games now suggest that the release dates for the two titles will be revealed in this month's CoroCoro magazine. Some optimistic fans have even predicted that both games could actually be released before the end of the current holiday season.

Nintendo has remained silent for now, and rumors of release dates being announced are also nothing more than chatter for now, but there is indeed news coming later this month.

The most recent issue of Japan's CoroCoro magazine did indeed promise big news regarding the Pokémon brand for this month, but the publication did not indicate what kind of news it will be, iDigital Times reported.

The rumors could very well be true and the official release dates for "Pokémon Z" and "Pokémon Go" could be announced, or it could be something else entirely. In the past, the publication has been known to share details about whichever Pokémon movie was set to debut next, and that too remains a distinct possibility. Fans will simply have to stay tuned to find that out for themselves.

In related news, "Pokémon Go" developer, Niantic, has just recently opened up a new studio based in Japan.

Niantic has yet to disclose what plans they have for their new studio, but some analysts already have ideas.

According to Japanese gaming industry expert Dr. Serkan Toto and as reported on by Nintendo Enthusiast, the new studio may have been built to house development for more games taking advantage of augmented reality technology.

It's unclear what those augmented reality games could be, or if more Pokémon titles could still be waiting in the wings.
