Windows 10 Mobile: New update now accessible to Fast Ring Insiders

 Microsoft official website

Microsoft has just announced the release of a new Windows 10 Mobile update that is first being made accessible to Fast Ring Insiders.

The new update is known as Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build 10586.107, and it will be introducing a fresh round of fixes to the operating system.

The update fixes some issues that previously led to some tiles going missing after a user would navigate through the out of box experience. It also provides improved support for Narrator, thus giving the feature improved functionality.

In addition, Microsoft is also launching a new Windows 10 Mobile update history page that users can go to in search of more specific details regarding recently released pieces of software.

The launch of the new Windows 10 Mobile update history page represents Microsoft's continued efforts to facilitate better communicate with their users, according to Windows Central

Microsoft also announced some news pertaining to the addition of a new Release Preview Ring.

There will be three groups of Insiders included in the Release Preview Ring.

The first group included in the Release Preview Ring is composed of Fast Ring Insiders. These are the users who will be granted first access to preview builds for upcoming software updates. The early access comes with some measure of risk, however; as their devices may also be affected by whatever issues are present with the updates that they will be receiving.

Right behind the Fast Ring Insiders are users who belong to the Slow Ring. Users who belong to this group will still get early access to new updates, although not as early as those who are in the prior Ring. Slow Ring Insiders will not be making their devices as vulnerable to issues as those who belong to the first group.

The last group included in the Release Preview Ring is made up of Release Preview Insiders. These users will be behind the other two groups in terms of access although their devices will be more protected.

More news about the Windows 10 Mobile update and the new Insider groups should be made available soon.
