iPad Pro 2016 imminent release affecting iPad Air 3?

The iPad Pro 2016 is reportedly coming out soon, but could that be the cause of the rumored iPad Air 3 being delayed?

That is the question on the minds of many Apple fans lately as rumors continue to surface about the two devices.

First off, according to iDigital Times, the iPad Pro 2016 is due out soon, really soon in fact. Recent reports have even suggested that the iPad Pro 2016 could come out as early as Nov. 6.

The November release date would not at all be out of sync with what Apple has stated recently, as the company announced earlier on that they do intend to officially make the new iPad Pro available in that month; they just ultimately relented from providing a specific day.

Rumors reportedly coming from Apple's Chinese supply chain were among the sources cited for that Nov. 6 release date, although the company itself has yet to confirm anything specific.

Interestingly enough, some people now believe that the upcoming arrival of the iPad Pro 2016 could be affecting some other Apple products, more specifically, the iPad Air 3.

According to Yibada, Apple previously had plans of announcing the iPad Air 3 even earlier than the iPad Pro 2016. The company was reportedly looking to launch the iPad Air 3 in October of this year.

Unfortunately, Apple seems to have opted to go in a different direction.

Instead, they chose to make the iPad Pro 2016 the focal point for the rest of 2015, with the company planning to release it before the end of the year.

Apple was reportedly scared off by the possibility that the iPad Air 3 and the iPad Pro 2016 could cut into each others' sales, hence the decision to launch one significantly ahead of the other.

Instead of October of this year, Apple is now reportedly looking at spring 2016 as the possible launch window for the iPad Air 3.
