iOS 9.2.1 Jailbreak: TaiG and Pangu working on new software

With iOS 9.2.1 now available, a lot of people immediately began to shift their thoughts to when new jailbreak software for the update might also arrive.

Unfortunately, folks looking for an iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak may have to wait for a while.

Thus far, only a single individual has shown the ability to produce jailbreak software for the latest update, and he is not planning to share his exploits any time soon, according to Gotta Be Mobile.

On top of that, the lone hacker was also able to produce jailbreak software just for the beta version of the iOS 9.2.1. That essentially means that the official version of the latest iOS update is still free from any kind of jailbreak.

As usual, folks are looking to both Pangu and TaiG for new jailbreak software, but both teams have yet to announce anything regarding the subject.

According to N4BB, both Pangu and TaiG are already working on creating an iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak, the only problem is that the two teams have simply been unable to come up with a solution to this point.

It's also unclear just how far along both teams have progressed to this point since they have been reluctant to reveal anything.

Rumors online also suggest that some of the jailbreak development teams may be skipping the iOS 9.2.1 update in lieu of creating one for the 9.3 offering. If that is the case, then the wait may end up being longer, as the iOS 9.3 update is not expected to arrive for at least a month.

As things stand now, people looking for the latest jailbreak software will have to wait a while to see if anything will actually come from either Pangu or TaiG.

Still, the general belief is that the iOS 9.2.1 jailbreak is coming soon enough, and people will just have to keep an eye out for it.
