'Heroes of the Storm' news: New character Li-Ming now playable in Public Test Realm

 Battle Net

Players who have been dying to try out Li-Ming inside "Heroes of the Storm" now have the opportunity to do so.

Thanks to the latest patch introduced to "Heroes of the Storm," players can now see exactly how powerful Li-Ming can be by practicing with her in the game's Public Test Realm, according to Battle Net.

Li-Ming brings a variety of powerful long-range abilities to the battlefield.

Her basic abilities include "Magic Missiles," which is an attack that has her firing a trio of projectiles.

She can also utilize the ability known as "Arcane Orb." Her "Arcane Orb" attack becomes more powerful the more distance it covers, making it one of her deadlier skills.

The last of Li-Ming's basic abilities is "Teleport," and this skill enables her to travel from one place to another instantly, although it only works for short distances.

As for Li-Ming's heroic abilities inside "Heroes of the Storm," her first one is known as "Disintegrate." "Disintegrate" allows her to deal massive damage for 2.5 seconds by using a beam of energy that players can control.

Li-Ming's other heroic ability is the "Wave of Force," and as the name would suggest, this attack damages and knocks her foes away from the targeted area.

Li-Ming will be available inside the game's Public Test Realm up until Feb. 1.

The magical Li-Ming is not the only new character set to be introduced inside "Heroes of the Storm." Soon, players will also be given an opportunity to try out the other new character known as Xul the Necromancer.

Xul features a varied skill set that includes the ability to raise his own army of undead soldiers from nearby corpses as well as poison attacks and curses that can significantly handicap opponents, according to PC Gamer.

Xul is not yet available in the game's Public Test Realm, although he may be added to "Heroes of the Storm" in the not too distant future.
