"Halo 5" is still a relatively new release and yet fans are already chomping at the bit to find out what new content they can expect to arrive for the game.

As of now, there seems to be quite a bit of new content coming to "Halo 5," although the game's developer, 343 Industries, has yet to provide an official release date for the new goodies.

First off will be the addition of the new 8v8 Big Team Battle for the game's Arena Multiplayer mode, and this is arguably the most significant piece of new content fans can look forward to, according to Gamespot. The new mode will also be coming with additional REQs.

The Big Team Battle mode will feature maps of its own as well, and as of now, there will be four that players will be able to try out once the new content arrives.

First of the four maps is Basin, a place inspired by Valhalla and featuring a good amount of rugged terrain for players to explore. Next is Deadlock, and it is another map partially set outdoors, although this one takes design cues from Standoff. The third Big Team Battle location is Guillotine, and this map will be featuring a more industrialized setting that has been inspired by Headlong. Last of the new maps is Recurve, which showcases a sprawling facility set alongside a rocky terrain and has been made along with some inspiration from Longbow.

Speaking of maps, avid "Halo 5" multiplayer combatants may find that at least one of those has been removed from the regular rotation.

According to IGN, the Orion multiplayer map has been removed from the rotation due to some problems regarding player exploits as well as other issues.

A revamped version of Orion will be added to playlists again in the future, although 343 Industries has yet to announce when that will be.
